Urban Port Richey Senior Photography-Ben J. W. Mitchell High School

Ben is a 2014 graduate from J.W. Mitchell High School.  His mom owns Sassy Settings
and they both had a vision for Ben's senior pics. Their vision was a place with lots of textures and character. Rusty doors, discarded furniture, and chain link fences were our backdrops!

U Pick Strawberries - Plant City, FL

I finally did it! I have been wanting to pick strawberries for years. It was even more fun since my friend and our daughters joined in the fun. We went to Spivey Farms in Plant City. It was crowded when we arrived around 10:15am. I was able to park right up front at the end of a row of strawberries. We were handed a quart bucket and started picking. The cost was only $.50 per quart. Payment was on the honor system. It was very rewarding work! The sky was blue and the temperatures were mild in the high 70's.

On our way they we spotted a small farm stand on the side of the road. We stopped off on the way home at Brandon Farms Stand and enjoyed some delicious strawberry shortcake and strawberry milkshakes. We even learned the history of the winter strawberry harvest in Florida! I picked up some strawberry jam too!

Here we are picking strawberries!

Here is the delicious strawberry shortcake from the farm stand!
