I was so pleased when my good friends asked me to photograph them. They wanted to give them away as gifts to family at Christmas. I had to hold out until after Christmas to post this blog. Torture!!
Joanie and I were both teachers together at New Covenant. Her daughter was in my first grade class, and my daughter was in her second grade class. Both of the girls are still best friends. Her husband has a great sense of humor. That was especially needed as Joanie went through chemotherapy this year. He was her rock during that time. You can see how much they love each other in these pictures.
Their teenager daughter came along to watch the photo shoot. You can spot her in one of the pictures behind the huge tree.
Love you both!!!

6 month session-Sims Park Children & Family Photography
What a day of firsts for this 6 month old! First time at Sims Park, first time crawling on grass, and first time in a swing! He was definitely on stimulus overload. What made the day even better was sharing it all these firsts with his grandparents. Perfect timing for family photos! This family finished up their day buy going home to cheer on their favorite college team. Go Wolverines!!

Trinity Children & Family Photography- 3 month old session
This little 3 month old is dad's mini-me! He was not a big fan of outfit changes! This photo session was actually several months ago. I realized after doing his 6 month session recently that I never blogged/shared his 3 month pictures. Silly me!

Personal-Weeki Wachee Weekend
Several weeks ago I went kayaking on the Weeki Wachee River and swam at Rogers Park. It was a blast. I got this bright idea to go there with Jake to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. I found a
Weeki Wachee cabin directly across from Rogers Park. We went this past weekend and had a great time. The cabin was wonderful and the owners even took us on a sunset cruise on their pontoon boat. They had two very friendly cats that hung out on our porch every day. Jake went kayaking with me, and we saw several manatees. We hope to go back again in December to look around for some property. It would make a great place to park an RV and enjoy kayaking and fishing.

Halloween Party | Nature's Hideaway
The Burke family invited us to trick or treat with them this year. Nature's Hideaway is the place to be for Halloween. There were so many kids in costume, hay rides, and tons of candy. What a great time!
